Spring Nail Polish Must Haves!

I love nail polish, for now anyway. I went through stages in my life where I would collect nail polish use it all the time, and switch up my nail color every saturday night. Of course I never followed my mom's advice and always painted them late at night, so when I woke my nails looked awful...o memories. But now I must admit sometimes I still wait till the last minute to do my nails (bad girl, yes I know). For those you wanting to try new nail polish colors this season I thought I share my favor of the spring season. Personally, my favor color is pink therefore my favorite nail polish color is hot pink. I found the perfect hot pink color from Sinful Colors in 24/7. Pastels are always go to spring colors. Some people even use their nail polish to coordinate with there clothing. I personally prefer my clothing (since I am a college student I mostly wear sweatpants and t-shirts) and nail polish colors to speak for themselves.
An overview of my go to Spring Colors

These polishes are all by Essie
Borrowed and Blue
Mint Candy Apple
Turquoise and Caicos
These pastel blues are a great transition to summertime as well. My friends personally don't like Borrowed and Blue, I think it's beautiful and resembles a cloud it's almost like a white with a sky blue mixed in. I know it's a blue color but it looks really white and washed out with a small trace of blue.

Mint Candy Apple is a very popular color and to some it looks like the Tiffany and Co. boxes every girl dreams about receiving. Personally, while I love this color I believe Turquoise and Caicos is more true to the Tiffany and Co. Box, but that's just my opinion.

L'Oreal Nail Colors
410 'Orange
102 Boozy Bruch
I know what you're thinking, but I promise you these are in fact two different colors. 'Orange is a neon orange. While its sister Boozy Bruch is a pastel cream orange. Orange is actually a very popular color in fashion this season (although many of my fashionista friends detest the color orange). I feel that orange is just unfamiliar to my friends. Looking back of my life I literally can count on my hands how many orange items of clothing I have owned. It has never been a popular color (since I've been alive all 19 years) and I suppose there is no time like the present to make orange happen.

L'Oreal
480 Breaking Curfew

Breaking Curfew is perfect for what its name suggest. This is definitely the night time color to own. I have gotten loads of compliment with this color and I have to agree with my friends. I'm not sure how but this color just makes my hands pop and a lot of people seem to notice as well. I prefer bright neons and pastels, but this blood red vamp-tastic color just seems to really demand attention.

Sinful Colors 24/7
Essie Status Symbol
Sally Hansen Fuchsia Power
O. P. I.  Pink Friday
I had first in 24/7 of my friends nails in a Facebook picture in October, five months later I was able to FINALLY get my hands on the color. It dries really weird looking but with a top coat of clear nail polish it was perfectly Barbie pink.
I wanted to pick of Pansy by Essie from my local Ulta, but of course it sold out so I opted with Status Symbol. It's a really nice bubble gum pink.
Just like its name says Fuchsia Power is a really nice bright fuchsia color perfect for the spring into summer transition.
I am a HUGE Nicki Minaj fan, in fact my twitter name is @MamieMinaj (FOLLOW ME) and also follow our blog @Hotintheheat (PLEASE) ;) ..Back to Pink Friday this is a perfect compliment to her MAC lipstick Pink Friday. It's a very nice light baby pink but it does streak and it's not too unique there are many dupes to this color.

O. P. I. Gargantuan Green Grape
Revlon 571 Posh
China Glaze Paper Chasing
My mom was a big fan of Gargantuan Green Grape. Neither the picture nor the actual color in the bottle gives justice to how beautiful this color will look on your nails. It is the PERFECT pastel green and almost looks as if it could glow under a black light.
I saw a picture of Olivia Wilde wearing Posh for a revlon ad and immediately wanted the color. It is a perfect green ivy color that I thought would look pretty "posh" at a party and a simple girl's night.
Paper Chasing is just a sheer green color, it's not opaque, meaning you can see through the color. Its has a shimmer to it that reflects in the light beautifully.

I think these are great springtime colors. If you don't have an Ulta, you can still get some O. P. I. products at Kroger's, H. E. B. (if you live in Texas), or online at Amazon. I suggest buying nail polish from Wal-Mart. I know a lot of girls shop at Target, but Wal-Mart is actually a lot cheaper when it comes to makeup. I only shop at Target when absolutely necessary or to buy makeup ONLY sold at Target.

Hope this helps

Ciao For Now
